On the once a year
Thursday night game, the Bucks met the league
Favorite Souderton Indians. The Indians
do not have Ronnie Powell anymore or even his little
brother who was hurt, but the Indians still have
plenty of capable backs. And the Indians unleashed
all of them in the first quarter as they jumped ou
t
to a quick 21-0 lead midway through the first
quarter. The Indians came out on fire as they
scored on their first 3 drives and forced three 3
and outs for the Bucks. Soudertons offense
rolled up 444 total yards of offense with 413 of
those coming on the ground. While their defense
played pretty well as they completely shut down the
Bucks rushing attack. So the Bucks had to go the
air, which they did. Chris Gazda kept his perfect
string of throwing at least one TD in every game
with a nice throw to Palmer Brown for the Bucks only
score of the night. Chris Gazda had another good
night, going 10-22 for 104 yards and a TD. The
game turned into a preview of the JV game in the
fourth quarter as both teams emptied the benches and
the Souderton JV added one more TD, right before the
final ticks on the clock to make the final score
56-7.
